One Direction's new single, Live While We're Young, came out several days ago, and I have not been able to stop listening to it. It got leaked a few days early (and the officially released it soon after), so it was completely unexpected. I knew it was going to be officially released while I was in class, so I was so excited to get out of class and watch it.
I was slightly nervous that I wouldn't like it because what would I do if I didn't? I've become so wrapped up in the One Direction fandom lately (which is rather unfortunate considering the drama), and I definitely wanted to like the new single. And believe me, I did like it. I absolutely love it. I'm obsessed. I've watched it so many times that I've lost count. When my family surprised me by showing up here on Saturday, I was spending time with them and away from the computer. At one point at the Indianapolis Children's Museum, I actually took my mom's phone (since mine was dead) and watched the music video because I hadn't gotten to all day. (Don't get me wrong. I like spending time with my family. I just really wanted to watch the music video.)
I've already calmed down quite a bit when it comes to how much I watch it. (I'm down to 3-5 times a day. I watched it over twenty times the first day.) I'm sure I'll reach a point soon where I'm not dying to watch it every single day. I do absolutely love the song and the music video though. I can't wait until I hear it on the radio. I don't listen to the radio that often, so I haven't yet (although that's how my sister heard it for the first time). This has just made me even more excited for the new album. I can't wait to hear all of the other new songs from it! It seems so far away from the album's release, but hopefully the wait will go by quickly.
