Wondering What Everyone's Doing

My family surprised me this morning by just randomly showing up at my college to visit.  It was great to see them, but that's not really what I want to talk about in this post.  While we were eating dinner, we started talking about what some of my old classmates are up to.  Most of the kids we talked about were my old high school classmates, but we started talking about all the kids I went to elementary and middle school with too (some of who attended the same high school but not all).

It was odd to think that we've all gone our separate ways.  I could remember where most of them are going to school now, but I have no idea what most of them are studying.  A few of them I couldn't even think if they were going to college, working, or what they were doing at all.  Oddly enough two of the people that I couldn't think of what they were doing were two of my old best friends.  I probably had the hardest time trying to remember what they're up to.  I know what one of them is studying, but I can't remember where she's going.  And even though I talked to the other one more often in high school I realized that I don't have a clue what she'd doing now that we've graduated.  I'm debating if I should send them a message on Facebook just asking how things are going for them.  They used to be my best friends, and I'm interested in seeing what they're up to.

In a broader sense though, I'm curious as to what all of my classmates are up to.  I should really start spending more time on Facebook.  I used to avoid it because of all the school drama, but hopefully that'll be better now that we've graduated.  I'm friends with younger kids who are still at my old school, but I'll just avoid that drama as best I can.  I follow some of my old classmates on Twitter, but so many of them don't have Twitter accounts.  I'm not friends with a lot of my old classmates on Facebook either.  Maybe I should go and add some more.  I don't know if that would be weird or not.  I'm just insanely curious about what everyone's doing now.  It's only been four months since graduation, but it kind of feels a lot longer than that.  I'm already looking forward to the reunions...
