We took our third test in AP U.S. history today, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was the easiest one so far. (Let's hope I didn't just jinx myself.)
I got my first draft of the summary we have to write for English done today. We started it yesterday, and I honestly just sat and stared at the computer for a while because I was a little scared. We're getting college credit for this class through Indiana University, so this is kind of like my first college paper. That's slightly terrifying to me.
There's just one more thing that I want to mention in this post because I'm a nerd. I was reading Abe Lincoln Grows Up by Carl Sandburg at school today, and I'm on the part where Abraham Lincoln's family moves to Indiana. If you've read my post about Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, then you might know that I live in the same county that Lincoln did when living in Indiana. Well, they mention our county in the book, which I thought was cool. That of course meant that I had to bring it up to three or four other people over the course of the day. Only one of these people thought it was anywhere near as cool as I did. In my defence, we live where nothing ever happens, so this is as good as it gets. (Well, that and Holiday World, and both of them are still over half an hour away.)
