Living Off the Land

My friend Katrina who I haven't seen in about three years came over today for a couple of hours.  We were best friends in kindergarten and remained friends for years after she started going to a different school.  Then she moved to a different state with her mom, and I didn't see her for years.  She came back to visit her dad and other family, but something was always going on so we never got to see each other.  We had a lot of fun though.  She says that she'll be spending the whole summer here, so we'll get to see each other a lot.  I'm excited!  She's an awesome friend, and I really miss her.

We went out to eat today for my mom's birthday.  We went to Cracker Barrel.  Usually, I get the same thing everytime we go, but this time I decided to try something different.  I wish I had stuck to what I normally get.  The food wasn't bad, but I don't think it was as good.

After we ate, we were looking around the store, and I found a Brady Bunch DVD that had the first seven episodes on it.  I wanted to get it because I was obsessed with that show when I was younger, but my mom wouldn't let me buy it.  She said it was too expensive which it was, so it's probably a good thing I didn't get it.  My dad did find this book about "how to live off the land" or something like that.  It tells you how to do a bunch of stuff like grow a garden, make a rug, skin animals, and a bunch of other stuff.  I have no idea why we wanted it, but he got it.  All I ended up getting was a stick of lemon flavored candy.  I love the flavor of lemon, just saying.

Then, we went to Target.  I wasn't going to get anything, but we passed the books so I had to look.  I ended up buying City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.  I've heard so many things about this series, so I really want to read it.  I have so many other books that I need to read first though.  It may take a while.

I watched episode 140 of Naruto last night.  I actually watched it before I posted last night's blog post, but I forgot to mention it.  *SPOILERS*  The thing with the heart really creeped me out.  I couldn't even look at the screen, but I had to read the subtitles.  It made it difficult to watch.

Merry Christmas

First of all, I hope everyone had a merry Christmas.  If you don't celebrate it, then I hope you had an awesome day anyway!

I slept in until 1:30 in the afternoon today and still managed to be incredibly tired all day long.  It's so weird how that happens.

My aunt brought my brother, sister, and me a present today.  We each got a card with money in it, and we all got an 8-in-1 game set thing.  It has chess, checkers, Chinese checkers, cards, and some other stuff in it.

If you watch my Youtube videos, you may remember me talking about the whole re-reading Harry Potter thing.  Basically, there was this thing I saw on Tumblr that people are re-reading Harry Potter starting on December 24th.  If you read one chapter a day (plus Beetle the Bard) you'll read the epilogue (since you read the last chapter of DH, then Beetle the Bard, then the epilogue) on the day the last movie comes out.  I said I wanted to do this and then completely forgot about it.  I plan on getting caught up and still doing it though.  I may mention it in future blogs or videos.  Maybe I'll just let you guys know when I finish a book or something.

Dan Radcliffe was on some British show called Quite Interesting.  It's hosted by Stephen Fry who's also the narrator of the British Harry Potter audio books.  It was hilarious.  Basically, Stephen Fry asks them a question, and they try to answer it.  They always discuss the question too, and they had a bunch of hilarious conversations.  Dan was really smart too.  He knew a ton of stuff that most people have no idea about.  It was really cool.  I'm kind of interested to know where he learned that stuff from.  If you want to watch it, the whole episode is here.

"Girl Issues"

***A little warning: I can't really believe I'm posting this on the Internet, but I feel the need to rant about right now.  Most girls will probably understand.***

Today has not been a good day.  I've spend all day feeling like crap because of "girl issues."  Frankly, I'm a little surprised that I'm posting this on the Internet.  That basically means that I've spent all day doing nothing but wishing that the pain would go away.  When I get cramps, they're usually really bad.  Sometimes I will actually cry, but that may just be because I don't really handle pain well.  It doesn't help that in addition to the cramps I've had a horrible headache all day.  Needless to say I am not in a good mood right now.

It kind of sucks because I wanted to get this Harry Potter fanfiction story I've been writing up.  It's a Ron/Hermione Christmas one-shot, and I'm a little excited about it.  The problem is, it still needs to be edited a little, and I refuse to touch any of my writing when I feel like crap.  I'm sure my misery and anger will show in the story (kind of like in this blog post), and it's supposed to be a happy story.  Hopefully, I'll wake up in the morning feeling a lot better, and I can get the story up then.

I did watch episode 139 of Naruto earlier.  It was a pretty awesome episode.  I really loved the end.  I can't wait to see what happens to Sakura.

I also watched episode 3 of How I Met Your Mother, and I loved it.  I thought it was hilarious.  I definitely think Barney is becoming my favorite character.  He's absolutely hilarious.

I Can't Feel My Feet

I spent about two hours today standing out in the freezing cold in front of the grocery store while it was raining with Ji.  We were ringing the bell and raising money for the Salvation Army.  It was so cold!  Once I got home, I couldn't feel my feet.  I've been home for about two hours now, and I'm still freezing even though I'm covered in blankets and everything!  My mom brought us hot chocolate out of no where which was awesome.  Ji and I had been trading my pair of gloves back and forth, so our hands were really cold.  The hot chocolate (aside from tasting good) helped warm up my hands too.

Anyway, Ji and I talked about her coming over tomorrow to work on school stuff.  She said that she thinks it would be cool to be in a Youtube video, so I said she could be in my Seven Awesome Nerds video for this week.  Wouldn't that be awesome?

The Grey Lady is apparently going to be played by Kelly MacDonald in Deathly Hallows Part 2.  I've never seen her in anything before (that I know of at least).  I wonder if she's good.

There's a rumor going around that the Deathly Hallows DVD will be out either March 15 or March 22.  That seems about right to me since the first two Twilight movies came out in November and got March DVD releases.  I always love getting new Harry Potter DVDs and watching all of the special features.  I can't believe that this will be the second to last DVD release!

Deathly Hallows Part 1 and The Last Airbender are both finalists for visual effects in the Academy Awards.  While I love Avatar (not so much the movie though), I'm going to have to root for Deathly Hallows to win.  That's mainly just because I thought it was a better movie overall though.  Although, if I had to choose the most positive thing about The Last Airbender movie, I would probably say the visual effects.

A Short Update

ABCFamily had Harry Potter weekend this weekend.  I caught a little bit of Chamber of Secrets and even less of Prisoner of Azkaban.  It seems like such a long time since I've watched either one.  They're all so young!  It's so strange after watching Deathly Hallows only a week ago.

My brother's 11th birthday party was today although his actual birthday was yesterday.  That means we had some family over for a couple of hours.  We had a lot of fun although pretty much all we did was talk.

I just got finished watching episode 137 of Naruto.  It was an okay episode but not that exciting.

I know this is an incredibly short post but at least it's a post.  I'm getting back into the hang of actually updating here after the past two weeks.

I Was So Different In Middle School

It's been two weeks since I posted here!  That's bad, I know, but my last two weekends have been crazy!  As those of you who follow me elsewhere on the Internet probably know, I spent all of last weekend at my grandma's house.  With a bunch of my cousins running around and celebrating Thanksgiving, I never got around to posting a blog.  The weekend before was obviously the release of the Harry Potter movie (which I have now seen twice!).  My best friend went to see it with us and spent the night Saturday.  It was our first time seeing each other since August!  Therefore, I never got around to posting a blog.  I promise that we're now back to at least once weekly (hopefully twice weekly) posts.  Now, enough with excuses...

A lot of you have probably heard me mention that I'm writing an original fiction story.  However, I don't know if I ever mentioned that this story is based on true events.  It's fictional, but things have actually happened that inspired the story.  The problem I'm having is that the main character of the story is in eighth grade (just like I was when the events that inspired the story happened).  While writing this story I've realized just how much I've changed in the three years since middle school.  I'd always known this of course, but I hadn't realized just how different I was.  I keep writing things, and then deleting it because I then realized that that is something I never would have done or said in middle school.  Honestly, I never thought of myself as immature while in middle school but looking back, I'm just now realizing how different my life was.  I'm not saying I was stupid and immature exactly, just different.  It's made it a little hard to write the story.  I have to keep asking myself whether this is something a middle schooler would say.  I don't want to make the main character too mature for her age, but I don't want her to be to immature either.  It's proving to be a little difficult.  One of the neat things about writing this though, is that I'm uncovering a lot of memories form middle school that I'd completely forgotten about.  There have been some hilarious moments that I just remembered that I had to incorporate into the story somehow.

The Eclipse DVD came out at midnight today (or yesterday).  This was the first time I didn't attend a midnight release for a Twilight DVD.  I have no idea when I'll actually get the DVD.  It may show up in my Christmas presents.  I want it of course, but I'm not quite as excited about it as I was the others which is a little strange considering it was my favorite Twilight movie yet.

Speaking of DVDs, I haven't even gotten The Last Airbender DVD yet, but after a certain conversation with my mom, I'm almost 100% positive that it will be one of the presents I open on Christmas morning.

A lot of you know that I have a Goodreads account.  I've been working on connecting that account to my blog, so that everytime I post a review, it will be posted here as well.  The problem is, Goodreads doesn't want ot cooperate, and the instructions they give you on how to do it make no sense whatsoever.  I've contacted them about it, so we'll see if that ever happens.

The other week, I finally caved in and got a Tumblr.  I'd seen a lot of people mention having one, but I've never been interested in getting one.  Then, I was bored one day, so I decided to just get one.  I'm having a lot of fun with it.  I'm not incredibly into it, but I get on there at least a couple of times a day.  I'm even doing a 30 day challenge on their right now.  I post something about Avatar: The Last Airbender.  Today it was my favorite ship (which is Kataang of course).  If you had a Tumblr account, it would be awesome if you followed me, and if I like you're blog then I'll follow back of course.

Mission Trip

After mass today, I went to a meeting at our church for this mission trip their doing for high schoolers and college kids.  It sounds like it's going to be really cool.  It's some organization or something doing it, and there will be a bunch of people from other churches and stuff.  We're going to somewhere in northern Indiana.  They said something about it being kind of near Notre Dame.  We'd be doing stuff like repairing and painting houses and working at a soup kitchen and stuff.  Apparently, there will also be concerts and stuff at night, and we'll have a mass there.  It's in June and should be a lot of fun.

I watched this week's episode of Kekkaishi earlier and loved it.  I thought Gen saying stuff about Yoshmori liking Tokine and Yoshimori denying it was cute.

I'll Never Understand Dreams

I'm not a person who usually remembers their dreams.  If I'm lucky, I usually remember one every four or five months or something like that.  Lately though I seem to be remembering them more often.  In the past week I've remembered two of them.  They were really strange.

All I can remember about the first one is that my sister was dating some guy.  It was a guy we actually know, and she had a crush on him a few years ago.  I don't know where that dream came from though since she hasn't liked him for a long time, and I don't know why I'd dream about my sister dating a guy anyway.

The other dream was last night.  It was something about us buying a new dog.  I think it was supposed to be a brussels griffon just like the two dogs we have now, but it was a reddish color that I don't think a brussels griffon can be although I may be wrong.  Pretty much all I remember about that dream was playing with our "new dog" and the two dogs that we actually own.

I have no clue why I suddenly seem to be remembering my dreams more.

I made a tumblr which I never thought would happen.  You can check it out here.  If you don't know what tumblr is, it's a blog, but it's a lot different than blogs like this.  You can reblog others things and stuff.  Most of my (and other's) posts are of pictures and things.  I started doing this Avatar: The Last Airbender 30-day challenge thing over there too.  Basically I post something about A:TLA every day. So far, I've done favorite and least favorite episode.  I'm really getting into it which is strange considering I never got a tumblr before because I didn't think I'd like it.

I also watched episode 132 of Naruto last night.  I loved it.  *SPOILERS*  I kept freaking out during Sasuke and Naruto's fight.  It's just so emotional and everything.  (I'm so happy my best friend would never try to kill me.  Haha.)

I Hate When the Time Changes

I hate when the time changes.  It always makes me feel tired, and on top of that, I think it made me feel kind of sick this year.  My body doesn't like having it's schedule changed I guess.  I've felt horrible all day.

Apparently, Alexandre Desplat, who composed Deathly Hallows Part 1, is apparently coming back for part 2.  It's not a huge deal, but I was kind of hoping John Williams would came back for the last movie.

Also, filming apparently begins in Brazil tomorrow for Breaking Dawn.  Stephenie Meyer, Kristen Stewart, and Robert Pattinson have apparently be seen down there already.  I'm torn because this means the movie is being made and there will be news again, but for some reason, all of the set pictures sometimes annoy me.  It just seems like they're everywhere, and I don't really care that much to be honest.  Some of them are fine, but you see hundreds of them, and it gets boring after a while.

Kind of on the same topic, aince DH Part 1 is coming out soon, WB is releasing all this clips.  I hate when they do this!  WB always releases half of the movie before it's even out!  I want to see it in the movie theater when it's all in one piece!  Not in little clips here and there.  I haven't watched a single clip, just some TV spots and like one trailer.  Other people talk about how it's hard for them to resist, but it's honestly not for me.  I guess I want to see it in the movie theater first so badly that I don't really care.

Wow, you can tell I feel horrible by how much I complain in this post.  Sorry about that.  Moving on to more positive things.

I just got done watching episode 131 of Naruto.  Awesome episode.  *SPOILERS* It's pretty much the same as I said yesterday: I really like flashback episodes for some reason.  I know Sasuke's getting ready to try and kill Naruto, but I still really liked that he said Naruto had become his best friend.  Ugh, Sasuke is really making me mad.  He's so annoying now!  (So much for being positive.)

I posted my video for The Seven Awesome Nerds (7AN) this week just a minute ago.  You can watch it here.

I also posted chapter 17 of Avatar: The Next Generation last night.  You can read it on my writing blog or on my fanfiction.net account.

I Can't Wait For The Legend of Korra!

Most people reading this probably know that I'm a HUGE Avatar: The Last Airbender fan, I'm obviously really looking forward the The Legend of Korra.  I was so excited to see that there's a line test going around the Internet.  Most of you probably have no clue what a line test is (I don't really know either other than what I've learned today).  It has something to do with testing animation apparently.  It's just drawings that are edited together to look like they're moving.  There's no color or anything yet.  It's kind of like those flip book things where you draw pictures and then flip the pages to make it look like it's moving.  The line test show's a fight.  I'm not sure who the characters are, but I'm asuming one is Korra.  You can watch it here.  I'm so excited for the show to premiere!

The only other thing I have to mention today is episode 130 of Naruto which I watched today.  Awesome episode!  I always love episodes with flash backs.  I don't know why.  I guess I just like learning background information about the characters.

This is Why Heaters Were Invented

I watched episode 127 and 128 of Naruto today, and they were amazing!  I'm loving the whole Sasuke Retrieval arc (even though I absolutely hate Sasuke now).

I'm so close to being done with Specials by Scott Westerfeld!  I only have a couple of chapters left.  It is amazing!  This one may be my favorite of the series (although I still need to read Extras).

I didn't do much at all other than read and watch TV except freeze.  It's been about the same temperature in our house as it is outside, and I'm not at all exaggeration.  I really compared the temperatures and they were the exact change.  And believe me when I say it is very cold outside here.  I spent most of the day in my bed trying to stay warm under the covers.  I don't think our heat is on at all.  If it is, it's not helping much.

Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial

We spent this morning at the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial.  It's where Abraham Lincoln lived when he was growing up in Indiana.  We saw the place where their cabin used to stand and Lincoln's mom's grave.  It was cool.  Since we live so close, I'd been there before, but it was a long time ago, so I didn't really remember it that much.

Afterwards, we went over to this place called Buffalo Run.  They have buffalos, but we didn't see any because they'd gone into the forest.  They also have a cabin there that Abraham Lincoln had been in.  We ate there, and I had buffalo meat for the first time in my life.  It pretty much tasted like beef to me.  I guess there was a little bit of a different taste to it but not much.

Ghostbusters

I spent my morning cleaning up TP at some stranger's house.  I'm a member of Key Club at my school, and every year we do this thing called Ghostbusters insurance.  Basically, if you buy a policy then a group of Key Club members will come clean up your yard if you get TPed.  I signed up last year, but no one got TPed on the day I was signed up.

We were lucky that we only had one house to clean up today, but unlucky because they had spread shredded paper across the whole yard (and this was a pretty large yard).  We didn't end up cleaning up all of the shredded paper because we'd have been there for days.  Plus, apparently the girl who lived there TPed her own house so that we'd have to clean it up which made us want to sit there and clean up every bit of paper even less.  We got most of it though.  At least it gave me something to do this morning, and I get along well with everyone I had to clean it up with.  I could have been in a group I don't get along with or something.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie came on TV this morning (before Ghostbusters but I recorded it to watch it after).  I read all four books a while ago, but had only seen bits of the movie before.  I enjoyed it although some things were definitely different from the book, but when isn't it.

My iPod suddenly died when it's battery wasn't that low a little while ago.  It's charging now and seems to be fine.  I'm a little scared though.  My iPods at least three (maybe four) years old, so I don't know how much longer its battery will last.  I'm going to be so upset when it's battery quites working.  This also reminded me that I want to transfer my iTunes over to my new laptop from my family's computer, but I haven't gotten around to it.  I know how to get my songs onto my laptop, but not the podcasts.  Does anyone know how to do that?

I updated Avatar: The Next Generation right before writing this post.  You guys should check it out if you're Avatar fans.  Here's a summary of chapter 14: On Their Own:
Zuko and Mai meet with generals to discuss what to do about Azula. Ozai has a visitor. Kazuna goes back to school, and catches up with her friends at the Southern Water Tribe. Aang meets with the Earth King, and then goes to visit an old friend in Ba Sing Se.
I watched episode 123 of Naruto last night.  It was an awesome episode!  Sasuke's finally awake!  Yay!  I can't wait to watch the next episode.

I finished reading James Potter and the Hall of Elder's Crossing.  I gave it a four of five stars on Goodreads.  I'll just post the review I wrote on there on here:
This story is basically just a Harry Potter fanfiction posted on it's own website and in PDF format unlike most fanfictions. However, it is a very good fanfiction. This was probably one of the best fanfictions I've read. You really feel like you're reading an actual book instead of a fanfiction. I can't wait to read the next one in the series!
We're watching Carrie Underwood preform for this CMA thing right now.  We did have it on Hannah Montana.  I haven't seen that show in forever.  Is it weird that I was kind of getting into it.  I don't know if it's because I used to actually watch the show on a regular basis or what.  For some reason I find the new episodes more entertaining then the old ones though.  I don't know.

Wrote a Strange Story

Today is the end of the first week of the Seven Awesome Nerds collab channel!  It went great!  I'm so excited about this!  I know it's going to be awesome!  I can't wait to post my second video tomorrow.

I don't know if I've mentioned this on here, but I know I've twittered about it and possibly mentioned in a vlog.  Seventeen magazine is having a fiction writing contest, and you can enter multiple times.  I wrote my third story for it today, and it's probably the strangest thing I've ever written.  I'm still going to submit it, but it's lucky I'm entering it to a girl's magazine because I don't think a guy would get it.  I didn't have any ideas when I sat down to write it. I just started writing, and the story just happened.

I watched episode 120 of Naruto earlier.  It was a good episode.

The Seven Awesome Nerds

Hey guys!  This will be a quick update since I don't have much to say.

I spent almost my whole day reading a Hunger Games fanfiction.  It's a really awesome fanfiction, and I'll probably talk more about it once I finish reading it.  Other than that, I didn't really do much today except some other stuff on the computer.

Guess what!  The collab channel I created (thesevenawesomenerds) is starting tomorrow!  I'll post the first video tomorrow, and then everyone else will post their first videos on their day of the week.  I'm so excited!  It's so amazing to finally get started!  I would really appreciate it if everyone checked it out.  I'm sure it's going to be awesome!

Million Little Mistakes

I finished reading Million Little Mistakes by Heather Mcelhatton today.  I won it on Goodreads a while back and I really enjoyed it.  It's one of those books where you read a little bit and then have to make a decision.  Your decision decides where the story goes.  In this one, you win over $20 million (I think that was the number), and then you have to decide things like whether you quit your job and so on.  I thought it was fun.  It only took me about half an hour to go through it making decisions and stuff, but there are so many different decisions to make that you could probably read it a hundred times and have a different story each time.

I watched episode 113 of Naruto earlier.  It was an awesome episode.

Those are really the only note-worthy things I did today...

I Need to Go to Hot Topic

I don't have much to talk about today as I think today was actually less eventful than yesterday.

I updated Avatar: The Next Generation today!  You should check it out if you haven't already.  You can read it here.  The chapter is called He'll Want to Hear About This (read the chapter to discover what the title means).  Not much happens that's important to the plot really, but I needed to get them all back home.  Although you do get to find out Ichiko's reaction to Hajime's revelation.  This chapter is quite a bit shorter than the past several chapters (probably because not much important happens).  Next chapter should be longer.

I need to go to Hot Topic!  Their new Harry Potter shirts look so cool!  I really want some of their Hunger Games shirts too!  I just had to mention how awesome they look!

That's really all I have to say in this post.  I need to get back to my astronomy homework.  I'm only halfway done (which means 20 questions to go).

The Unlucky Chapter

I actually have quite a few things that I want to mention in this post, but most of them aren't really "real life" stuff but "internet stuff."  In fact, I've done basically nothing all day other than be on the computer.  Don't I live an eventful life?

Anyway, I slept in until almost noon today!  Why am I so happy about that?  I've been so tired the past few weeks, and today was the first time in forever that I've actually felt completely awake.  With church tomorrow and then school this week, I'm sure that won't last long.

I finished writing chapter thirteen of Avatar: The Next Generation today!  I just need to edit it, and then it will be up!  How long has it been since I posted chapter twelve?  A month?  It might not have actually been that long, but it's at least been a few weeks.  (I checked.  It's been 21 days.  It would have bothered me if I didn't check.)  It's a pretty short chapters (especially compared the the last several chapters).  You know, I just thought of this, but maybe it's so short since it's the thirteenth chapter and I had bad luck writing it.  Who knows.  It's an idea.  (Except, I don't think it's a bad chapter really, just short.  Although, I did have problems writing this one part.)

Warner Bros. announced that their releasing a Deathly Hallows Part 1 trailer Wednesday!  Yay!  I can't wait!

Speaking of DH, the actor who plays Scabior (Nick Moran) said in an interview that they apparently cut some scenes from DH because they were too much like Saw.  I thought that was interesting.  I can't think of anything in DH that would resemble Saw (not that I've ever seen any of the Saw movies...).  Although, I do figure that they want to keep the movie rated P-13, and if there were scenes that looked like Saw then that seems like it would get the movie an R rating.  I don't know.  I just found that interesting.

One last thing about Harry Potter:  I want those new calendars!  Can you believe that I've never had a Harry Potter calendar?  I've gotten a calendar for Christmas the last three years (I think) and they were all either puppies or Twilight (not that I'm complaining about those calendars, I just want a Harry Potter calendar).

Moving on to Twilight, there is apparently a school overing a Twilight class now.  How cool is that?  First Harry Potter and now Twilight.  I hope the college I go to has that cool of classes.

I watched episode 109 of Naruto earlier.  Amazing episode!  As I said before, I was dreading this whole Sasuke thing.  However, I love how it was done.  It was an amazing episode!

This post seems really weird to me.  I'm just in a weird mood right now I guess.  As you can tell, I did nothing but sit in front of the computer and getting on Harry Potter and Twilight fansites (actually that's not entirely true, I read and wrote too).  Anyway...  I think I'm done being odd now.

The Long But Short Shopping Trip

My Aunt Judy and Uncle Neil are visiting from Georgia this week.  Usually they stay at our house when they're up here, but they're staying at my Aunt Becky's this time.  They stopped by our house this morning though.  I was still asleep when they got here, but I was awake by the time they left.

My brother and I helped my mom pack all of our cardboard, newspapers, and plastic bottles into the car so we could take them to the dump to recycle them earlier.  There was so much of it!  I don't know how long all of that stuff had been sitting in our garage and piling up, but we had to pretty much jam it all into the car (and it's not a small car).  I'm surprised that we got it all in there.

Later, we went over to my Aunt Becky's house the visit with our relatives some more.  I hadn't been to my Aunt Becky's in forever!  Her house has really changed since I was there.  Everything had moved, and they put in new floors.  They also have a new dog named Daisy who's a beagle.

After spending some time at my aunt's, we all went to Lowes.  My mom needed to get something for one of our bathrooms (she's doing a bunch of stuff with it).  We couldn't find what she wanted though, so we went over to Home Depot and bought it there.  Now that I'm typing this I can't help but think that that was a long trip for it to only be that little of a paragraph.  It seemed like we were in those two stores for hours.

I also watched episode 107 of Naruto today.  Even though I knew what was going to happen with Sasuke, I'm not happy that I'm finally there.  He's one of my favorite characters at the beginning of the series, but I know I'm not going to like him after this.

September 7th marked the one year anniversary of this blog!  Can you believe it!?  It doesn't feel like I've been posting on here that long.

The Abandoned Kitten

My sister and two of her friends found an abandoned kitten last night!  It was adorable except for the fact that it's eyes were swollen and disgusting looking.  We took care of it last night and today, and then gave it to my aunt, uncle, and cousins today.  It was so cute though!  I uploaded pictures of it onto Twitpic and I got a little bit of video of it that I'll put in tomorrow's video.

Today was my parent's wedding anniversary and Tuesday is my sister's birthday, so we went to eat at Red Lobster today.  Afterwards, we went to the bookstore!  I found a lot of books that I haven't been able to find in a while.  I got Specials, Will Grayson, Will Grayson (yes, that was supposed to be typed two times), Bella Should Have Dumped Edward, and volume 5 of Ouran!  I wonder how long it will take me to read them.  You guys have no idea how many large stacks of books I have sitting around waiting to be read.  I want to read these so badly though that they might skip to the beginning of the list.

I've read chapters ten through thirteen of HeartBreak.  I was wondering when Emily would get her scars.  Other than that I don't have much to say about it.

I watched two episodes of Kekkaishi earlier today, so I'm caught up on that now.  I don't really like Masamori (I hope that's spelled right.  I'm too tired to check).  There's just something about him that I don't like.

I love the contest that Mugglenet's having it sounds awesome!  They're asking people to write their own version of the Deathly Hallows script right where the split will be.  I definitely want to enter, but I don't know if I'll actually get around to doing it.

I'm incredibly lucky that there's no school tomorrow because I am way to tired to be waking up early in the morning.  We'll see if I wake up tomorrow at all.

I Hate Spiders

Maybe I'll actually to remember to update this every weekend now!  Anyway, moving on...

I didn't really do anything today.  My mom, sister, grandma, some cousins, and some of my sister's friends all went to Holiday World (a theme park near here) today (my sister's birthday is Tuesday), but I decided not to go.

You know how my old laptop broke a little over a month ago?  Well, we still haven't gotten rid of it and it's just been sitting in my parents' bedroom.  My dad called me in there earlier today to show me something.  He'd found a spider living INSIDE of my old laptop.  It was sticking out of one of the holes (I think it was the one you plug the charger into).  It creeped me out.  He ended up spraying bug spray into the hole to kill it (if it wasn't broken before, it is now).  I had just started worrying about finding spiders all over the house when this happens.  I hate spiders.

My brother had Jimmy Neutron on earlier, so I was watching it.  I loved that show when it was airing.  Anyway, during commercials they showed an ad for this new show.  Sheen from Jimmy Neutron is the main character.  I'm not entirely sure what the show is about, but from what I could figure out, Sheen's living on some planet with aliens.  I wonder if it will be as good as Jimmy Neutron.  I don't think I'd like it.  To be honest the main reason I liked Jimmy Neutron was because of Jimmy/Cindy.  I thought it was funny too though.

I've been reading The Light in the Forest by Conrad Richter for school.  So far, it's my favorite book out of the three I had to read for summer reading.  It's not my favoriting book, but I do like it.  Other people have told me that they thought it was boring, so I'm a little surprised.  It might have to do with the fact that I'm incredibly fascinated with Native American cultures.  I really like how you get both perspectives in the book.  I think it does a really good job describing the Native Americans and the whites views on things, and you can understand both of them.  At least, that's what I think.

I've watched two episodes (103 and 104) of Naruto in the past 24 hours.  I really liked both episodes.  I hope Idate sees his brother again.

I also read three chapters (7 through 9) of HeartBreak.  Not really much to say there.  Nothing much happened in those three chapters except for Emily deciding to be with Sam even though it hurts Leah, and obviously, we all knew that was going to happen.

Another Update!

Wow, two updates in two days.  I can't even remember the last time that happened.

I saw some stuff about the Hunger Games movie earlier today.  I can't wait!  They're apparently looking for a director now.  I hope the movie will be good.

I've been reading A Raisen in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry for school (I have to take a test on it Tuesday morning).  It's a lot better than the last one I read for school (Old Man and the Sea).  I can read it without feeling like I'm about to fall asleep, but I still don't like it that much.

Why do the weekends have to go by so fast?  I'm not looking forward to getting up to go to school tomorrow morning.

I doubt all get another blog up during the week because of my vlogs, but I'll try to at least get one up on Saturday.

Ideas

I guess I really need to update this since it's been 12 days.  The thing is, I don't really have anything to say that I haven't already said in a video.  If anyone has any ideas of things I could do on here that would make it different from my vlogs, you should leave a comment.  I don't want to just write on here the exact same things that I'm saying in videos...  I need to figure out this blog and vlog thing...  The weekend thing didn't work out to well...

I watched episode 101 of Naruto last night.  It was a filler episode, so it was pointless.  It was enjoyable though.

I finished reading the Harry Potter and the Psychic Serpent fanfiction.  I really enjoyed it.  I plan on reading the other two fanfictions in the trilogy in the future but not right away.

I also read the third chapter of James Potter and the Hall of Elder's Crossing earlier.  This story is becoming pretty interesting.  I want to know what was up with that weird ghost he saw.

Short Update

It's been a week!  Wow!  I can't believe it's been that long since I've posted a blog.  I never feel like writing a blog when I'm posting vlogs every day over on Youtube.

Anyway, I've watched a few episodes of Naruto and the 1st movie.  They were awesome.

I'm still reading the Counterfeit Convert by Linda Chadwick.

I went to Holiday World yesterday with my brother and sister.  We had fun, but didn't really get to do a whole lot since my brother didn't want to ride very many rides, and we couldn't leave him alone.

School's been going well so far.  I think it's going to be a good year.  I just wish that Summer was still here.

From now on, I'm going to try to at least post blogs on the weekends when I don't post videos.  We'll see how that goes.

Less Than Two Days of Summer Left!

I was going to post this yesterday, but we ended up renting movies, and I wanted to go to bed early since school starts this week, so it didn't happen.

I haven't really done much since my last post.  Like I said, we rented movies yesterday.  We got Remember Me and The Lovely Bones.  I thought both were awesome movies.

I won a book on Goodreads and it came a few days ago, so I'm reading it.  It's called The Counterfeit Convert, and it's by Linda Chadwick.  It's a Mormon book, so I'm not really sure how I feel about it.

I'm trying to start a collab channel on Youtube.  If you're interested, you should go here.  I need at least five more people.

I can't believe school starts Wednesday!  I'm not ready for summer to be over!

I Can't Believe I'm 17!

Now that I have a laptop again, I can't get used to posting a blog on a normal basis anymore.  Hopefully that changes soon.

I had a good birthday yesterday.  My grandma came over with my cousins Ben, Danielle, and Michael to bring me my present.  She gave me a talking water bottle.  It's really cute.  I also got a card in the mail today from my Aunt Kate, Uncle Ryan, and my cousins Spencer and Andrew.

Yesterday was also my last day of work until November.  Yay!

I'm going to be posting a video every weekday until my next birthday on Youtube.  I posted the first on yesterday, and there will be another one later today.  I'm going to try to still update this even if I'll probably be saying the same thing here as I will in the videos.

Shopping

I can't believe that it's been five days since my last post even though I got a new laptop.

The laptop was part of my birthday present that my parent's got me six days earlier.  It's awesome!  I love it! I haven't done much since my last post.  We (we meaning my mom, sister, best friend, sister's friend, sister's friend's mom, and me) went shopping at this outlet mall that's about three hours away yesterday.  We had a lot of fun although it definitely wore me out.  I got a bunch of new shirts and a lot of them are Twilight shirts from Rue21.  I also got a lot of books.

It was nice to spend time with my best friend.  I won't get to see her much this year since she's going to a different school.  It's really sad.

I finished reading Plastic Fantastic, and I really enjoyed it.

Vacation Bible School

I haven't done much the past few days except help out at my church's vacation bible school.  It's Egypt themed, and the kids get to meet and talk to "Joseph" every day.  He was in prison on day one, and then gets out on day two and stuff.

I'm an assistant family leader (each group is called a family).  Basically, I just do whatever the group leader needs me to do and help watch the kids.  There's one point were the group splits up and I go with some of them while the group leader goes with the others.

Yesterday though, the group leader wasn't there, so my sister and I ended up having to lead the group together.  It went pretty well considering we weren't entirely sure what we were doing.  It also worked out pretty well considering that it was the only day Regina was able to go down to help out, and they ended up needing her.  I definitely know what it's like to be a substitute teacher now.  The kids were definitely testing Regina and me to see what they could get away with.  They're usually a hyper group when the group leader is there, but it was even worse yesterday.  The kids in our group are really cute and great kids, but it's a handful watching them.

I'm on my second book since my last post.  I read The Debs by Susan McBride.  It was a good book, but not great.  Right not I'm reading Plastic Fantastic by Simon Cheshire.  It's good so far.

Annoying Space Bar

I haven't really done anything the past few days. Also, I'm typing this on my brother's laptop, and the space bar barely works which makes typing this extremely annoying, so I'm going to try to make this short.

I finished reading Victoria and the Rogue by Meg Cabot.  I loved it and definitely recommend it. I also finished reading Ready or Not by Meg Cabot, and really enjoyed it.

I've watched a few episodes of Naruto, and they were good episodes.

LeakyCon!

Its been five days again!  I hate not having a laptop.  I haven't really done much except go to work.
My dad and I are now registered for LeakyCon 2011!  I'm so excited!  It'll be my first Harry Potter convention!

My dad and I went to see The Last Airbender the other day.  I ranted for about seven minutes in a video on my Youtube account.  You can watch that to hear what I have to say.  Here, I'll just say that it was better than I though it would be, but I couldn't stand how they pronounced the names.  I mean, they couldn't even pronounce Avatar right!

I finished Bedazzled.  It was okay, but I pretty much knew everything already.  I also read Catholic and Christian for Young Adults.  I think it's a great book for Catholic teenagers.  Now I'm reading Victoria and the Rogue by Meg Cabot.  I love it so far.  I really like that it takes place in 19th century England.

Lots of Books

I know it's been five days.  It's harder to write blogs when I don't have a laptop.  I hope I can get a new one soon.

I haven't really done much since my last post except work.  My phone also broke.  I was using my old phone.  AT&T sent a new phone that arrived today, but it doesn't work either.  We can't figure out what's wrong.  It can't be my SIM card because it worked fine in my old phone.  I really hope we can figure it out soon.

I'm pretty sure I've only watched one episode of Naruto (episode 87) since my last post. It was a good episode.

I finished Don't Take Love Lying Down by Brad Henning.  It was a really good book.  I think every teenager should read it.  I also read Pretties by Scott Westerfield which is the second book in the Uglies trilogy (although there is a fourth book that takes place in that world but with a different main character).  It was amazing!  I absolutely loved it!  I definitely recommend reading that series.  Now I'm reading Bedazzled: A Book About Stephenie Meyer and the Twilight Phenomenon.  It's okay, but not incredibly good or anything.  I've had a lot more time to read without a laptop as a distraction.

I Miss My Laptop (I had to make that the title.)

I have depressing news.  If you follow me on Twitter than you probably know that my laptop's hard drive died.  I'm now having to use the computer in my parents' room or my siblings laptops.  I'm still going to try to post blogs on a regular basis, but I'm not sure how it will go.  I'm really worried about my story.  I'm not going to have as much time to write it, and I was just starting to update it pretty frequently.  I'm trying to get a new laptop, but I'm not sure how long it'll take.  Anyway, on to other things...

My church's summer social was yesterday.  I worked at the stuffed animal booth for two hours.  The kids had to throw balls and if they got them in certain holes, they won a stuffed animal.  It was so hot outside.  I got kind of sick when I got home, and I'm not sure if it was because of the heat or what.  I could barely eat anything without my stomach hurting, and last night I thought I was going to vomit.  I didn't, but it was not fun trying to sleep last night.

I watched episode 86 of Naruto earlier.  It was a good episode, but not great.

I also finished reading Did Adam and Eve Have Belly Buttons?  You can see my review on Goodreads.  I'm now reading Don't Take Love Lying Down by Brad Henning.

Also, VERY IMPORTANT!  If you have a Facebook, go here, and vote for the Harry Potter Alliance.  It's for a very good cause!

New Permit

I know it's been four days.  There were a few times were I started to write a blog and then had nothing to write about, so I didn't post one.  I still don't really have anything to write about.

I worked Monday through Thursday.  I got a new permit on Wednesday, but they have to mail it to me (I have a paper one until then).  This permit is good for two years, so I don't have to get my license until I gradate High School.  I really hate driving...

I finished reading the Eclipse Illustrated Movie Companion.  I reviewed it over on Goodreads which is an awesome site that anyone who reads should check out.  I'm now reading Did Adam and Eve Have Belly Buttons? by Matthew J. Pinto.  It's a book for Catholic teenagers.

I've watched episodes 83 and 84 of Naruto.  They were both awesome.  I love learning about Sasuke's past and all the stuff with Itachi.

4th of July 2010

It's been five days!  I kept telling myself to write a blog and then I'd completely forget.

I haven't done much the past five days except work and going to my uncle's for the 4th of July.

On Saturday, my mom's side of the family went to my uncle's.  We ate catfish from his lake which is always awesome, and some of the kids went swimming.  That was about it.

We set off fireworks on Sunday (the actual 4th of July) at our house.  It wasn't all that great though.  They were pretty boring fireworks.  I got some video that I'll upload to Youtube later (which you totally want to watch after I said it was boring).

Speaking of Youtube videos, I uploaded some videos from our trip that you can find here.  I was going to upload some more today, but my dad was on the computer and then I had to go to work.

I could talk about the books I've been reading.  I just started reading the Eclipse Illustrated Movie Companion.  I really liked the first two, and this one's good so far.  I love reading about how they make movies.  It's why I love watching special features about how the movie was made on DVDs and wathcing the commentaries.  I finished The Twilight Companion, but don't really want to talk about it.  If I was Team Edward, I probably would have loved it.  Since I'm Team Jacob, I wasn't thrilled with it.  It would have been good if she hadn't talked about how perfect Edward was on every page, and almost completely never even mention Jacob exists.  It got annoying.

I've watched episodes 79, 80, 81, and 82 of Naruto.  All amazing episodes.  I love this show.  Kind of weird since I thought I'd hate it when I started watching it.  I'd just heard so many people talk about it, and I wanted to see what it was like.  I liked the first so many episodes, but I kind of made myself stick with it.  Now I want to watch it all the time.

More Lazy Days

I meant to post a blog yesterday and then completely forgot to.  Whoops.  It doesn't really matter though since nothing has happened.

All I've been doing to past few days is going to work.

Eclipse premiered at midnight last night, and Avatar premieres tonight at midnight! I may actually get to see those movies on Saturday.  Hopefully, I get to see both.

I've watched episodes 77 and 78 of Naruto.  They were both great episodes.  The show just keeps getting better.  I'm on season four now!

I finished Official Guide to the to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.  I also read all of the Look-It-Up Book of American Presidents which was interesting.  Now I'm reading The Twilight Companion which is a pretty funny book so far.  The author makes a lot of jokes.

I also uploaded chapter nine of my fanfiction last night.  I think it was the fastest I've ever updated my fanfiction (less than a month).  I hope I'm able to keep it up.

Days Until:
The Last Airbender Movie: 1 (Midnight tonight!)

Lazy Summer Days

I haven't done much the past two days. I've pretty much just read, got on the Internet, and stuff.  I'm such an exciting person, I know.

I watched episode 76 of Naruto last night.  It was the best episode yet!  *SPOILERS* I feel so sorry for Gaara.  His story is so sad!  He's my second favorite character now (after Hinata).

That's pretty much all...

I haven't really done anything in the three days since my last post except go to work and babysit.  I worked from five to nine on Wednesday and Thursday, and I babysat my little cousin Michael today from around one to around six.  That's probably all I'll be doing for a while...  Isn't my life exciting?

Other than that, I've done pretty much nothing.

I've written some of Avatar: The Next Generation.  The next chapter should be up soon.

I'm going to see if I can figure out how to edit videos from my new camera tomorrow.  If I can figure it out, then I should get at least a few new videos up on Youtube tomorrow.

I watched episode 75 of Naruto and it was amazing!  I loved it!  The Gaara/Sasuke fight is awesome! *SPOILER* As soon as Sasuke collapsed I knew Naruto and the rest of them would show up.  It was awesome!

I finished Just the Facts About Washington D.C.  It was really interesting.  I also read If You Lived at the Time of the Civil War.  It may be a children's book, but it was still interesting.  Even if I knew pretty much everything they said already...  I've started reading Official Guide the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.  I really need to get the books that I bought in Washington, D.C. last summer read.

And I think that's pretty much it.

Early Mornings

Nothing has really happened the past two days.  I haven't gone anywhere except work which was incredibly slow.  Only a few people came in both days, so I mainly just sit there and read (which is what I usually do anyway but still).

I don't know why, but I've woken up early the past two days.  I woke up at nine this morning!  I can't remember the last time I woke up that early when I didn't have to.  I guess it's a good thing since I have more time in the day.

I've watched three episodes of Naruto (72, 73, and 74) since I last blogged about it.  I loved all of them!  The episodes just keep getting better and better.

I've been reading Just the Facts About Washington D.C.  I've learned a lot of really cool stuff from there.

That's pretty much all I've done the past two days.

I can't believe that it's been about a month since the last day of school!  Summer break goes by so quickly!

Summer Vacation 2010: Florida Part 3

Hopefully now that vacation is over, I'll get better at updating.  Five days is a long time.

The rest of vacation was good except for Friday.  We didn't get into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and everything else seemed to go wrong.  We're planning on going back sometime this summer and go the the Harry Potter park.  Hopefully everything goes better that time.

On the way home, I finished reading The First Ladies of the United States of America.  It was interesting and I learned some stuff about the First Ladies.  Now I'm reading Just the Facts About Washington D.C. and it's pretty good so far.

We just got home from picking our dogs Mickey and Poppy up from where they were staying while we were gone.  It's so good to see them after so long.

I have to work the next four days.  I'm not looking forward to it, but after this I'm probably done working there this summer.

Summer Vacation 2010: Florida Part 2

I'm going to try to keep this post short.  We did a lot of things the past two days, and it would take forever for me to think of them all.

Yesterday we went to Sea World.  It was awesome.  Here are my five favorite things we did yesterday (in no particular order):  1.  We fed dolphins.  It was amazing. They're one of my favorite animals, and it was so cool. 2.  We got to see baby dolphins.  They were so cute!  3.  I rode my first upside down roller coaster and my second.  4. We watched the Shamu Believe show, dolphin show, and the sea lion, otter, walrus show.  Believe and the dolphin show were amazing and the sea lion one was hilarious.  5. We rode this Atlantis ride which is a lot like Splash Mountain at Disney.  There's this part at the end though were it's kind of like a roller coaster that you're not expecting.

Today we went to the Kennedy Space Center.  It was also a lot of fun.  The five things for it:  1. We got to see people actually building parts for the International Space Station.  2.  We watched reenacments of things such as Neil Armstrong walking on the Moon.  It was really cool.  3. We watched this Star Trek Live show which was really cheesy but funny.  4. We got to see the launch pads for the space shuttles even if they were way back in the distance.  5. We got to go in an actual space shuttle and see the inside.

After we left the Space Center and ate dinner, my sister wanted to ride this sling shot thing.  She some how got my to ride with her.  It shoots you over three hundred feet in the air just like a sling shot.  You could hear them scream from the ground.  It was hilarious.  Regina bought the DVD of their faces while they're riding.  It's probably one of the funniest things I've seen.

Summer Vacation 2010: Florida Part 1

It's been four days!  I thought I'd be able to write a blog at the hotel outside of Tampa, but the Internet connection sucked so it didn't happen.  There's so much to talk about, but at the same time not that much.  That probably made no sense to anyone but me.

We left early Thursday and went to pick up my grandma.  We spent all day driving, and then spent the night at my aunt and uncle's house.  Then, we drove all day Friday until we got to my family in Florida's house.

We just visited with family all week.  We had a birthday party for my (third) cousin Aaron on Saturday.  That's pretty much all we did.

We got to Orlando today, and I think we're going to Sea World tomorrow.  I'll try to write a post about it tomorrow,

I've been filming videos, but I didn't really get much of my family.  It's weird telling them I put videos on Youtube.  Besides, I only have two hours of film for the whole trip, and I'm going to film a ton a the Harry Potter theme park.

I updated my fanfiction the other day.  The crappy Internet at the other hotel was at least good enough for that.  You can read it over here.

I finished reading The Official Guide to the Smithsonian on the way down here.  It was interesting.  I also read the People magazine Twilight Edition.  It was cool.  Now I've reading The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner.  It's really good so far.

We watched the new Alice in Wonderland on the way down here.  It was good I guess, but not completely awesome.  Of course, that's probably because I felt horrible while watching it, and I was never a fan of Alice in Wonderland anyway.

Excited!

It's been a few days since I posted because nothing's really happened.  I guess that's not entirely true.  Monday was kind of eventful, but I don't really want to talk about how my sister had a huge temper tantrum in public over her cell phone.  (She'll probably get mad if she sees how I described it...  There aren't really any other words though.)

I got the Eclipse novella, Pretties (the next Uglies book), and some book about Twilight on Monday too.  I wanted to get the book that bellaandedward.com wrote, but I couldn't find it.  Hopefully, I'll be able to find it some where eventually.

Yesterday and today I didn't even leave the house.  I've been uploading a lot of videos to Youtube before we leave tomorrow.  I still have three more, but they're being difficult and don't want to load.  I'll have to try again when we get back.  Of course, then I'll have a bunch of videos from vacation too.  I'm so excited!

I may twitpic the pictures I take on vacation or may not.  We'll see.  I'll twitpic some from my phone while we're down there, but all of the good pictures will be on my camera.

I've been watching Naruto a lot lately.  I've watched four eosides (68, 69, 70, and 71) since my last post.  They were all great.  The last one (71) kind of freaked me out a little.

My mom bought a bunch of movies we haven't seen before for us to watch on our way down.  I'm excited because just a couple of them are the new Alice in Wonderland and The Boy in Striped Pajamas.  Apparently we've had Boy in Striped Pajamas for a while and I didn't know about it which sucks because I've really want to see it (partly because of the story and partly because David Thewlis who plays Remus Lupin in Harry Potter is in it).  I'm too obsessed with Harry Potter...

We leave on vacation tomorrow! I can't believe it!  I probably won't be able to sleep tonight which is really bad considering I have to get up at five in the morning.

Long Weekend

It's been four days!  It's not that I was busy this weekend necessarily, but I was with family so I didn't get around to writing a blog post.

I didn't really do anything on Thursday but work.  I worked on Friday too, and when I got home my grandma and three of my cousins were over.  My grandma stayed with us this weekend because my mom and dad were away.  My dad's studying to become a deacon.  (Don't know what that is?  Here.)

On Friday night, we went out to eat at this local restaurant, and then went home while I watched New Moon with my grandma (who'd never seen Twilight or New Moon) and my sister, brother, and cousins played poker (but not with money).

We might have done something else, but I don't remember...  I know I forced everyone to sit through six episodes of Avatar at some point, but I think that was Saturday...

On Saturday morning, I watched (and my family watched part of) the first episode of Kekkaishi which aired on Cartoon Network/Adult Swim last Saturday.  I liked it.  I recorded the second episode last night, but haven't watched it yet.

We went out to eat at this local Mexican restaurant on Saturday, and when we got back home.  I watched Half Blood Prince with my grandma and brother.  My grandma had seen the other Harry Potter's but hadn't seen HBP yet.

We didn't really do anything today except go to church.  We got the worker's list for our church's summer social today.  I'm working in Kiddie Land and at the stuffed animal wheel.  It'll be my first time working those, so hopefully everything goes well.  The summer social isn't until July, so we've got a while.

It wasn't really a busy weekend, but it wore me out.  I feel like I didn't get much sleep this weekend, yet I didn't really go to bed later then normal and on Saturday I slept until noon.  I don't know.  It was a long weekend.

I watched episodes 66 and 67 of Naruto, and they were awesome.  I really loved episode 67.  It may be my favorite episode so far.

Stranded at a Theme Park

I haven't really done anything the past three days.  I've only left the house for work yesterday and today.  Nothing exciting has happened.

My best friend Summer did get stranded at a theme park today.  This theme park is about an hour away from where we live.  She was supposed to go home with our other friend Kelsey who works at the park.  Kelsey was working until closing and was then going to pick Summer up from the front entrance.  Kelsey was really late and workers were coming up to Summer asking if she was okay and stuff because she was the only guest still at the park.  Meanwhile, she's texting me while I'm at work and freaking out because she thinks Kelsey has forgotten her.  I'd called my dad to see if he could go pick her up when Kelsey finally showed up.  Apparently, she'd still been working even though other employees had been trying to find her and couldn't.  So, that's the only exciting thing that's happened the past few days and it actually happened to my best friend.

I've watched both episode 64 and 65 of Naruto.  I'm so glad that Sasuke is back!  I can't wait to see the fight between Sasuke and Gaara.

Arguing Over Facebook

I did pretty much nothing on Saturday.  We did watch Leap Year which I've been wanting to see.  I loved it!  It's now one of my most favorite movies ever.

Oh yeah, and I took my driving test that morning, almost wrecked the car, failed, and we're done talking about that.

Today, we went over to my grandma's.  They were watching Avatar when we got there, so I finally got to see the end of it.  I really, really liked it.

I played badminton, tennis, and volleyball with my cousin Danielle.  It was so hot outside!  It definitely feels like summer now.

Once we went back inside, my cousin Joel and I kind of started fighting over Facebook.  He started doing things to bug me, and then he got off the computer and I decided to get on.  He apparently forgot to log off of his account.  His dad and our uncle told me to post something funny as him, and I did.  Then, he found out and kicked me off his account.  I got on my account and we started to argue and make fun of each other over Facebook.  It was actually fun (although he did some very embarassing things).  It was actually the first time I've been on Facebook in forever.

We also started watching Mama Mia.  It was still on when we left.  I've seen it before.  It's a good movie, but really cheesy.  My favorite part is that Julie Walters (Mrs. Weasley in Harry Potter) is in it.

That's pretty much all I did this weekend.

Two Boring Days

I haven't really done a whole lot the past two days.  I worked yesterday, and it was incredibly slow.  It also stormed all day long which I hate.

I have to take my driving test tomorrow at 8:30 in the morning which means I have to wake up at about seven to get ready and get there in time.  It'll be like school again just a few days into summer break.  Knowing me though, I'll tell myself I need to go to bed early and then not go to bed early.  If everything goes well, I should have my liscense tomorrow.

I just finished watching episode 63 of Naruto.  I absolutely loved the episode!  I really want to know where Sasuke is.

I've been reading First Families:  The Impact of the White House on Their Lives by Bonnie Angelo.  I'm on chapter four right now, and it's really interesting.

I also posted a new Avatar: The Next Generation one-shot (fanfiction.net/~hmweasley).  I tried uploading videos to Youtube earlier, but it wouldn't let me.  That's the secong time that's happened.  I wish I knew what's wrong.

School's Out!

School is officially out for the summer!  Yay!  I'm so excited!

We didn't do anything at school today.  Less than probably half the school was even there.

We just sat there and talked in world history and art.  We watched TV in personal finance and English.  We played Scrabble for the first part of Spanish and then just talked.

During lunch, some of my friends who have a different lunch were walking around anyway because none of the teachers really cared if we were in class or not, so I walked around with them.

From one to three we watched The Blind Side.  This was about the fourth time I've seen it.  It's a good movie, but it gets boring after a while.  I'm kind of upset that I may never be able to finish Avatar though.  I think there were only about five or ten minutes left where we were at too.

After school, my mom picked me up, so I could retake my written driving test.  I passed this time!  I'm scheduled to take the driving test on Saturday at 8:30.  I don't want to wake up that early, but at least I'll get it over with.  Hopefully, I pass because my permit expires on the 31st.  If I don't get my license by then, I have to take a written test to get a learner's permit and then start all over.

I finished The Secret Lives of the U.S. Presidents.  It was really interesting, and I learned a lot of things I never knew about the presidents.
